Paxil (paroxetine) can have more sedative effects and is usually prescribed when dealing with anxiety disorders. I craved sugar and carbs constantly and my hunger cues were all messed up. It has been better but I’m still needing to lose. Trust me. I discontinued lexapro 3 months ago and continued with the wellbutrin. But once the side effects calm down it is pretty good at knocking out my anxiety. In my case, for the first few months I felt my appetite was more controlled. Eat lots of fruits and veggies to fill up on. Lexapro is prescribed to treat depression and generalized anxiety disorder. It felt like my body was just desperate to hold on to every calorie and it started to become a source of anxiety in and of itself. i work out every day, eat a moderate diet etc. My doc prescribed prozac because she said it wouldn't cause weight gain and sometimes suppresses appetite which can actually cause weight loss. ycwigsefiylhhlwughxb
